Their purpose is to provide members with support, advice and a chance to meet like minded people and make friends along the way. There is a message board, informative website and a chat room. PALS will provide you with information about the NHS and help you with any other health-related enquiry, or resolve concerns or problems when you are using the NHS. They will also provide information about the NHS complaints procedure and how to get independent help if you decide you may want to make a complaint. PALS can also inform you about how you can get more involved in your own healthcare and the NHS locally.
